Knee injury, No Concussion for Nikola Mirotic


Update: It’s a swollen left knee and strained quad. He was walking around at shootaround, but very gingerly. Thibs says no timetable until they see the response his leg has to treatment, but unlikely to play in game 3.

Following last night’s victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Bulls fans held their breath while waiting for the latest news regarding Nikola Mirotic.

Coach Thibodeau has officially reported that Mirotic did not suffer a concussion from yesterdays game, but suffered a left knee injury that will keep him out for a few days.

While the Chicago Bulls should be alright against the Milwaukee Bucks without him, there’s no doubt that he would be able to be a significant x-factor player against the Bucks, or more importantly the Cleveland Cavaliers.
